TAKING PETS FOR VACATION
Most pet lovers love to take their pets while going on vacation although
there are ways to leave them safely at home or at pet care takers who
will take care of them during our absence. A good preplanning is very
much essential if we decide to take the pets with us. We have to make
sure they can be taken in plane or train in which we wish to travel. If
we opt to travel by car we have to make sure that car journey suits them,
by taking them for short rides now and then.
We should ask the hotels if they are allowed in the hotels. Be sure they
don’t create problem after reaching there. Pets enjoy if they are taken
for a walk in the beaches,
or taken for some pet shows where they can take part in competitions and
win some prices.
• Pets should be kept under our control so that they don’t get missed.
They should always carry a tag containing the trainees name and address,
so that they can be got back if lost.
• A vet doctor needs to be consulted before leaving so that they are healthy
to travel.
• They should not be allowed to use the furniture in the hotels as they
may not like it.
• Take enough food for them before leaving and warm clothes if they need
it.
• Pets are considered as children by their trainees so they expect others
as well to treat them as kids.
• While staying in hotels they should see to it that they don’t make any
noise so that the other customers don’t get disturbed.
• Pet lovers show love and affection to them and hence don’t like others
to ill-treat them. They should not be allowed to go alone, they might
get lost. They will come back in their home land but in strange places
they have to be kept safe.
• They should be taught to cope with strangers since they have to meet
many strangers during the holidays.
• Pet lovers should find out where they could take them with them and
get permission if needed prior to leaving home so that they won’t have
any problem visiting places. It is better to rent a car and move around
so that they can leave the pets in the car if needed.
• We can enjoy the trip with our pets if planned well.
